About Us
Who We Are
We’re a collective of concerned consumers, coffee lovers, and change-makers united by a mission to protect our health and our planet, starting with coffee.
Among our founding members are individuals who have lived in coffee-growing regions across Central and South America, where the culture, care, and craft behind each cup are deeply respected. That experience inspired us to take a closer look at what’s in our daily brew—and what impact it’s having on our bodies and the world around us.

Why We Created Plastic Free Brew
We believe your coffee should do better for your body, your taste buds, and the planet.
That’s why we created Plastic Free Brew: a movement to eliminate plastic from the brewing process and raise the bar for what coffee can be.
Our mission became clear—to bring sustainable coffee solutions into people’s homes in the form of plastic-free pods, brewing equipment, and products that support a healthier daily ritual.
We collaborate with small-batch independent roasters, sustainability advocates, and prototype designers to deliver specialty-grade coffee through innovative, plastic-free solutions that prioritize health, flavor, and environmental impact.
The Problem in our Cups
Most Americans drink commodity-grade coffee-over-roasted to mask imperfections, often bitter, and typically brewed using plastic-heavy drip style machines or single-serve pods.
This isn’t just about taste. It’s about health. These lower-quality beans are often stripped of antioxidants and are more prone to mold and mycotoxin contamination. Additionally, there are growing concerns that the machines we brew them with may be leaching petrochemicals and microplastics into our bodies.

Brewing a Better Future
Our commitment goes beyond creating better coffee products—we’re here to spark a movement. One where conscious coffee drinkers choose to protect their health, elevate their daily ritual, and reduce their impact on the planet.
Because change doesn’t start in boardrooms—it starts in kitchens, around breakfast tables, and with the choices we make each morning.
